Across disciplines, scholars are now wrestling with how AI should be positioned within the environment of scholarly knowledge production. Recent studies portray AI as a disruptive yet unavoidable presence in academic writing, offering both efficiency gains and ethical dilemmas (Dergaa et al., 2023; Misra &amp; Chandwar, 2023).
